It's been years since I last contacted you. Remember the old Herbal News Group? I see a few of my postings are still included in your holdings. It's great to see you have kept going strong and are still providing such a wonderful service as interest in herbal medicines has exploded, thanks to the Internet. Don't you just love all the videos on YouTube that tell and show us everything we want to know? It's all so easy now, compared to the days and days I used to spend in university libraries, etc., doing research. I'll be 74 Nov. 8th, and am still researching and helping the local State Park here in St. Martinville, Louisiana with their herbal garden, giving demonstrations, etc. My specialty is herbal/healing methods in rural Acadiana (think Cajun country), before 1850. I even went back to school and became a nurse, graduating when I was 60, just to get a better handle on how herbs affect the entire body. Thanks for helping us all get a leg up on this subject. Wow! Love the info on your site. I'm a student of naturopathy in Australia and you've covered some very hard to find herbs I needed to study, like Hellebore. I'm itching to get into the Felter MM too, I love looking at the history of natural medicine!

Live in USA, Michigan adjacent to a flood plain that is full of Native Plants and Herbs And Berries , Angelica ,nettles, wild raspberries red and black,elderberries, black currants,many wild flowers Dames Rocket abounds, Canadian Anemonies, Tall Meadow Rue,Joe Pye Weed,Jewel Weed a lot of Golden Rod,Common and Swamp Milk Weed ,Green Head Cone Flower and many more. Trees include. White Willow, Slippery Elm , Prickly Ash. Buckthorn Hawthorne (make a nice mead with the flowers) Black Cherry. Grow a large amount of Garlic also Shallots create pickled and roasted products with them also make jellies with the berries and sell at local farm markets.

Really cool site! Had to sign your book, given we have similar names! Everyone always made fun of my name as a child, but now as an adult I embrace the family name my mom gave me because I was named after my great grandmother and mother! Thanks for a great site!

Hyvaa Paivaa Henrietta: I live in Virginia, am 82 years old, have my Finnish Sauna out in the woods near the house above a river.........I have picked herbs since age 5, and raise them here for 45 years. I would love to have access to your Home Page. How to go about it?

I like your website and I like your style. I'm visiting because I have a friend who grows and sells herbs at small local markets. I wanted to see images of the herbs to, perhaps, make some labels for her plants. Loads of information here. I will have to turn her on to this!!!
