In the treatment of night sweats I find an ointment made of camphoric acid 50 grains to one ounce of lanolin to be very serviceable. I take a small amount—equal to the size of a hazel nut—and rub it thoroughly into the axillae at bed time. I have found this to control the most of the cases. One application is usually sufficient for several nights.
