COMPOUND ZINC PASTE.
Synonym.—Lassar's Paste.

| Salicylic Acid, in powder | 2.00 | | | 140 grains |

ZINC AND GELATIN PASTE.
Synonyms.—Gelatinum Zinci; Unna's Paste.

| Distilled Water | 35.00 | | | 7 fl. ounces |
| Zinc Oxide, finely sifted | 15.00 | | | 3 ounces |
| Glycerin | 35.00 | | | 7 fl. ounces |
Soften the gelatin by soaking in the water, add the glycerin, heat on a water-bath until the gelatin is dissolved, stir in the zinc oxide, and pour into a flat dish or tray to solidify.
When required for use, the paste is melted on a water-bath and applied to the skin with a stiff brush; the part may then be covered with cotton wool or lint.
