Soak the gelatin in 30 (7 1/2 fluid ounces) of the solution of of tolu, add the glycerin, and heat until dissolved. Dissolve the codeine and citric acid in the remaining 6 (1 1/2 fluid ounces) of solution, mix with the solution of gelatin, add the oil of lemon, and stir well together.
Dose.—4 grammes 60 grains).
